Swami Vivekananda delivered a speech at Los Angeles,California, USA on January 8, 1900. He said human mind has extraordinary powers. This mind is a part of universal mind. Each mind wherever it is located is in actual communication with other minds of whole world. Each mind has the power to transmit and receive its thought with others through Universal mind or Infinite intelligence. It is a science.
According to Dr.Maxwell Maltz,M.D.,FICS who has a vast research experience on human brain- "The brain and nervous system constitute a goal striving servo mechanism which operates like an electronic computer. The servo mechanism operates automatically to achieve a certain goal very much as a self aiming missile seeks out its target and steers its way to it.The built in servo mechanism functions in both ways-as a guidance system to automatically steer 'you' in right direction to certain goals, or make correct response to environment and also as an 'electronic brain' which can function automatically to solve problems, give you needed answers, and provide new ideas or inspirations.
Dr. John Von Newmann says, "The human brain possesses the attributes of both analog and digital computer."
The brain creates images of experience and learnings. It also creates an image of Self. And this self image is further reflected on every action of life.If one thinks 'Big' his achievements shall also be 'Big'.
Success brings happiness. Through the ages man has been striving to achieve it.Biologically and physically all brains have the same composition. The success hungry people always tried to discover the mysteries of success achievement.
Success of any kind has almost the same ingredients-Positive thinking, confidence, faith to win,a strong desire or dream (not the wishful thinking),a smart planning and vigorous action with consistency and persistency.
In the words of Napoleon Hill, "Through some strange and powerful principle of 'mental chemistry' which she has never divulged, Nature wraps up in the impulse of strong desire 'that something' which recognises no such word as impossible, and accepts no such reality as failure."
He also said, "Whatever the mind of man can Conceive and Believe it can Achieve. There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge. Both Poverty and Riches are the offspring of thought." So through Desire and Faith we can become Rich.
Man is a friend and foe of himself.Money is an ultimate media of exchange. We all need money to spend for survival and purposes. And a little is required for odd days and some extra for useful purposes. If the 'brain' is programmed to attain richness and also to retain it then we can reach the heights of richness.
This discussion can't be terminated without quoting the following in which I firmly believe - "For me, the greatest pleasure comes not from the endless acquisition of Material things, but from Creating Wealth and giving it away"- Jay Van Andel,"inspiring people to live better lives".
