I won’t quit

Wishes are still thrown away

Dreams are turned to ashes

I’ll fight come what may

Being used to bruises & thrashes

The rose still smiles in the garden

My shoulders deep under burden

The birds, rivers are still beautiful

O God my routine is still full

Rules, restrictions and constraints

I am sick of holding me back

Though it has eaten away my strengths

I will still walk on the same track

The road may become more thorny

Numerous more opportunities may again be wasted

But I’ll wait & let my blood drip

And get my aim blasted

It may always defeat my wit

May I lose some more battle

I will prove my metal

Fear me more, but I won’t quit!

  1. This one is more mature than the earlier ones you written; So congratulations and keep it up.However I am not satisfied by the picture it contains.Being an animated pic I think it lessens the spark of adrenaline your poem contains,so kindly consider about changing it.....take no offense..

  2. Thanks, I guess I am growing up a bit...I did not find any real picture which could express my view. A real one will be of a film hero with unnecessary make ups, whereas an animated one will have the correct picture of a soldier who doesn't quits till his last breath...but yes if i get one i will definitely post it :-) Thanks 4 ur valuable suggestion :-)
